A typical monday on the west side entails getting home from work, playing with my iPad, catching up with my roommate, and filling up the apartment with empowering music….only to be amplified by the apartment’s natural acoustics.
Life has been good lately. I have everything that I need for now. Do I have everything that I want?…No. Is that ok?… I think so.
I focus on my work, my growth as a 20-something adult, and the realization that I can have it all…I just can’t have it all at once. I think the past two years have really opened my eyes to the possibility of growing with someone. One who complements me. Lord knows I’ve tried, faltered, got back up again, got knocked down some more, got back up again… I think you get the picture.
I do have a point, I promise. Here’s to not being afraid to fall when I jump, standing up when I do, and with a little luck…having someone there to catch me.
